The Most Important Meal of All

Breakfast!!
It is the most important meal of the day. Whether you want to admit it or not, everyone loves breakfast. period. and it's sooo easy to make your day start right! And I'm not talking about a bowl of cold and soggy corn-flakes every morning. No, I'm talking real breakfast. So here are some quick tips and short recipes for some amazingly tasty meals:

1. Scramble
This is something you can make fresh in the morning, or something you can make, put in a container, and heat up in the microwave before you head out the door. The best part about a scramble is that you can put in it whatever you want! These can include (but are not limited to)
Eggs
Sausage (or ground beef)
Potatoes
Onions
Green Pepper
Cheese

For the ingredients listed above: cook the meat first in a frying pan. Chop your potatoes until you are satisfied with their smallness or bigness (you can peel them as well if you like) and just pan fry them in about 2 Tablespoons of oil. you can season them with salt and pepper. Once the potatoes are done, combine them with your meat. Next... in a small bowl beat your eggs and other ingredients (ie onions and green peppers... after you chop them of course) make sure your pan isnt too hot when you pour in the eggs and let them cook in with the meat and potatoes. Once your eggs are nice and fluffy, put the whole thing in a container, a bowl, or in your mouth. you can garnish with cheese while it's hot or after you pop it in the microwave for morning consumption. you can also use salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme to make your scramble really pop!

2. Toastermazing.
Toasters can be used for so much more than just making jelly toast in the morning. Eggo makes toaster waffles, so why can't you? You can also make toaster pancakes, and toaster french toast. while you cook any of these delicacies, cook them just short of perfectly done, then just put them in the freezer! Take them out one by one or two by two, it only takes about a minute to heat them through in your toaster. You can eat them with yogurt, cream cheese, jelly, honey, peanut butter, or the traditional syrup :D if you have berries or bananas, use them too! Although, personally, a cream cheese french toast sandwich is really the best way to start your day.

3. slow cookin'
Here's an experiment for you... Combine everything you need to make oatmeal. That's right. Milk or water, salt, oats, and your favorite flavoring (brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, etc) in a small slow cooker. leave it on ALL NIGHT. not only will your apartment small completely amazing in the morning... but all you have to do is scoop out a hunk of deliciousness and gobble it up before heading to class. you can make a big batch if you want and make your roommates extremely happy.

Well that's all for now folks!!
Enjoy your breakfast!
